  1. I think you meant Mockingjay Part 1, which is scheduled for November. I bet #15 will be Disney’s “Maleficent” starring Angelina Jolie. I’m personally looking forward to “Sin City; A Dame to Die For”, but it’s too edgy to break the bank.

  2. I think Interstellar should be on the list especially with Nolan as director and McConaughey in his first film released after the Oscar win. What about The LEGO Movie? It will probably end with $250M by the end of its theater release. That’s breaking the bank for sure.

It will be interesting to see how Divergent does at the box office. It didn’t get great reviews but the teens may go anyway. What do you think?

  4. 14 films that I never want to see! Oh the trials of old age! What is happening to the film industry? Thanks for the like on my post. I need a time machine…
That’s why I don’t do lists, they would all be retro. Pete.

  5. Interstellar should definitely be on the list. Nolan’s last three movies all cracked $600 million worldwide. I would also add How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Both will be huge!

This one’s iffy, but I think Jupiter Ascending is a dark horse candidate for that 15th slot. It could be a screaming disaster of a film – Speed Racer proved that the Wachowskis can’t turn *everything* into gold. But if they manage to get this one right, it could make some serious bank. Probably not as much as most of the others on the list, but a respectable profit, nonetheless.
But then again, I’m also a guy who never thought Starbucks was a good business idea, so what do I know?

I love the originality of Jupiter Ascending that’s were the liking end. I don’t like the CGI, shallow characters and I’m not looking forward to Channing Tatum in eyeliner. I don’t think a lot of people are doing to flock to see it. It one of those movies you watch on DVD, but it could go either ways seeing that its only competitor opening weekend is The Purge.
